Emergency kits to save the big day!

What do you do if your dress has a small tear? How about if last nights partying got carried away and you are left with a major hangover. What if your stomach isn’t settling well and you might throw up as you walk down the aisle. Well of course things aren’t going to go as you’ve planned and those cases may happen. You need to be prepared. That’s why you should always have an emergency kit. Its first aid combined with clothing fixers and a touch up kit just to make sure that little tears and problems can be quickly fixed.

We at SNG Wedding’s have created our very own emergency kit which we provide to all of our couples with all the essentials needed incase said above situation should occur.

But here’s the thing, its easy to make. All you need is a small purse or bag to store all the essentials. Take a look at the list below of what you need.

Clothing

  • Clear nail polish ( for stocking runs)
  • Corsage pins
  • Hem tape
  • Mini sewing kit
  • Safety pins
  • Scotch tape
  • Small scissors
  • Dress tape
  • Spot remover
  • Static-cling spray

Medication

  • Tylenol or Advil (or pain reliever of choice) If you haven’t eaten then take Tylenol because you need food with Advil or an ibuprofen
  • Band- Aids
  • Bottle of Water
  • Dental floss, toothpicks
  • Eye drops
  • Smelling salts or Vicks to help with dizziness or if someone faints
  • Breath mints
  • Antacid
  • Pepto

Touch-ups

  • Extra earing backs
  • Hair pins
  • Tissues
  • Tweezers
  • Lipstick, eye shadow, blush but the same colors used by your make sure artist for touch ups
  • Hair spray
  • Nail polish for touch ups
  • White chalk for masking stains ( if your dress is white)
  • Blotting paper
  • Cotton swabs
  • Lip balms
  • Hand lotion
  • Cologne / perfume
